One cannot go to Prague and not see the Prague Castle. Likewise, one cannot miss Wenceslas Square, site of the 1989 "Velvet Revolution," the 1968 Soviet Invasion and current commercial center in the heart of Prague. A long wide street lined with elegant hotels and shops it is dominated, at the top, by the National Museum. Restaurants and shops alike are crammed with tourists and Czechs, all dining out, shopping and enjoying the flourishing center.

All three metro lines run from Wenceslas Square as do a variety of trams, making it possible to whisk anywhere in the city in a matter of minutes. But Prague is best viewed on foot, and Wenceslas Square is mere minutes from Old Town Square´s famous Astrological clock and the beautiful ancient Charles Bridge, spanning the Vltava River. Whatever your preference, it´s easy to do from Wenceslas Square.

Apartment in Prague´s rental apartment is in an 19th century building on a quiet street three minutes walking from Wenceslas Square. The high ceilings lend the rooms added space that one doesn´t find in hotels. Parquet flooring throughout the flat reflects the light around making even the gray winter days seem more airy.

The master bedroom has a large double antique bed and matching wooden closet to hang up dresses and suits. Reading lamps and an alarm clock are also provided so you can read late into the night and still wake up early to start your sightseeing. In the second bedroom there are two single beds and wooden closet for storing your hangables.

It is also possible to put a fifth person on the daybed outside the master bedroom, if so desired. The large main bathroom has a long tub, and washer and dryer. There is also a second small toilet for those morning toilet "situations."
