Thrilled with Karoliny Svetle Apartment Accommodation!

My friend and I stayed at Karoliny Svetle for five nights this past March, and were thrilled with the accommodations. The apartment was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed having the privacy of our own bedrooms.

The master bath was large with a huge bathtub and wonderful shower. It was great having the extra half bath as well. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to have a leisurely breakfast every morning. The sitting area has two comfortable chairs, which were perfect for reading and relaxing.

One evening we had trouble with the heat, and the problem was fixed immediately. The location was ideal and we found we were in walking distance of most areas of the city. We ate at the Restaurant Stoleti downstairs, and were so happy with the food we went back several times. We also used the car service from Apartments in Prague to take us to the airport.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and look forward to staying there again when we return to Prague.

Enjoyed staying at Zborovska Apartment in Prague

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your flat - it was beautiful and so comfortable - we walked all over Prague from there, bought food at the little stores. I had left a note that we were not able to turn on the towel warmer in the bathroom with the tub and were not able to turn off the warmer in the bathroom with the shower - that wasn't important to us, but we thought you should know.

The Kasangs

** Note from Apartments in Prage ** We know about those heaters, they are both broken and we have to rip up the floors to fix 'em so we are waiting until winter unfortunately.

Accommodation in Apartment Janska 6 perfect!

Dear Apartments in Prague,

I had to write to tell you what a great time we had in Prague and how much of that is attributable to our accomodation. Janska 6 is perfectly located - a short walk to Prague Castle and its environs, the Charles Bridge, great cafes, restaurants and public transportation. A longer walk took us over the bridge to more incredible architecture, history and beauty.

Knowing that we had a comfortable, welcoming apartment to return to at the end (or middle) of the day, with our own stash of snacks, made the trip much more relaxing and enjoyable - like a home away from home.

I should also like to mention your weekend service - delivery of a iron on a Sunday morning! The airport pick up service was excellent - promptness in both directions. If Apartments in Prague could do something about the declining US dollar we would be back real soon!

Thanks for your help,

Kate Sheehan

Impressive Spanelska 2 apartment accommodation!

Stayed recently at the Spanelska 2 apartment in Prague. Very impressed with the apartment and the overall service from the company. Usually stay at the Savoy in Prague.... Whilst apartment not a hotel, the accomodation was of high quality and extremely comfortable. Obviously much cheaper than most hotels and we will definitly be returning to an apartment with this company again. Have already recommended company to friends if visiting Prague in future.

Loved Staying in Vlasska Apartments

We loved our stay in Prague in January. Because there were 10 people coming on four different flights arrangements were a little complicated but all were dealt with efficiently by Misa in the Office. Between the 10 of us we rented four of the apartments in the Vlasska complex and all were delighted with the excellent accommodation. The drivers Otto and Johanna met us at the airport and were a friendly and welcoming

introduction to the city.

We could not fault the apartments in any way. All were clean, comfortable and spacious and in an excellent quiet location just a short walk from Charles Bridge. There were plenty of shops nearby for provisions, and lots of interesting bars and restaurants right on our doorstep. In addition, it was most helpful of you to let us stay in

Apartment 6 until 18.00pm on our final day - my elderly parents were very grateful not to have to move out early. Johanna and Otto were very efficient in delivering our party at different times back to the airport

for our flights.

For many of our party, this was the first visit to Prague. It will not be the last! We will be recommending your organisation to any of our friends planning on traveling to Prague.

Many thanks to you all, and especially to Misa, for facilitating a fantastic family weekend.

With kind regards,

Ms Terry McDonald

Description Zborovska

Accomodation Apartment Zborovska is wonderful

We (two couples) stayed in Zborovska apartment in December 2007 for 8 nights. We were just 2nd guests in this new apartment and we did not have a single regret of choosing it. The apartment is spotless and everything is very new and good functioning. It is equipped with everything needed and has such lovely luxury items as fire-place with remote control and I-Pod stand (so that you can just bring your own music collection on own I-Pod) - both were used by us every evening :-) The overall design of the place got our sincere complements: modern furniture, clean lines, good-combined colors and everything is just so... homey! :-)

Location from our point of view could not be better: one street away from the river, good safe and very quiet neighborhood, easy 10 min walk to the Charles Bridge from the side of the city normal tourists I think do not

really often go to. This made a very quiet peaceful start to our every morning. The views we got on the way to the center were just lovely; panorama of several bridges, old center, hill with the castle.

Extra plus was that at the time of booking we got a paper from the agency with cafe+restaurant recommendation list (some 10-12 places) in the part of the city where apartment is situated. The first on the list was cafe Savoy

(4-5 min slow walk from the apartment) with the comment 'to be careful because it can become just your favorite place' for a cup of coffee - it became it! :-) Honestly - excellent coffees, breakfasts and overall interiors and atmosphere. At least half of the breakfasts in 8 days trip we spent there and at least two dinners as well. Crème-Brule to kill for :-)

The personnel of the agency stayed professional at all times: online booking, transfers, any possible help was on the very high professional level. We as two couples of friends were arriving from two different countries and second-to-arrive couple missed the connecting flight, so first we went to the airport for nothing to meet them (agency transfer), then they arrived next day and other transfer was needed - all was arranged very fast

and efficiently. More than that, our driver Johanna was checking their new flight for us online and told us about 1 hour flight delay - without this we would have wasted another hour in the airport... things like that... Then

(good lord ... all at once!) their luggage was lost and the agency made sure we got it later... All in all they have taken such care of us that commercial companies normally do not do.

We stayed more than 1 week, so 1 apartment cleaning + bedding change was included as well.

We would definitely stay with "Apartments In Prague" in future and recommend it to our friends.

Description Zborovska

Zbrovoska Apartment Accomodation is extremely comfortable

I was lucky enough to spend two and half months in Prague and during this time stayed in the Zbrovoska apartment. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying for a few days or for someone who has the luxury to stay longer. In fact, I would recommend the apartment experience over the hotel experience any day. It's extremely comfortable, you feel right at home, and you don't waste a lot of money eating unhealthily at restaurants all the time.

I liked the location. For one thing, it was away from the throngs of people that mill about in the Old Town. Yet Prague is a small enough city that everything is accessible by tram or, if you are so inclined, by walking. The National Theater was only a five-minute or three-stop tram ride away, and trams run quite frequently. Plus, there was no loss of convenience with three supermarkets nearby, including a huge, slightly overwhelming Tesco in the Andel mall. Lots of restaurants line the tram street, there are two gyms nearby, and the area has a nice neighborly feel to it.

I spent most of the fall going to shows all over town, but my favorite venue by far was the National Theater. Tickets were surprisingly the most affordable, but I got to see some amazing performances, like a modern dance by the Nederlands Dans Theater, a modernized Romeo and Juliet by the Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, and a Bellini opera, Norma.

The apartment itself is lovely. In the living room there is a comfy, suede couch to sink into, a gas fireplace, huge flatscreen TV with a DVD player and a Bose sound system that I could use to play my i-pod. I liked the kitchen because it had a state-of-the-art gas stove, ample counter space, an oven and a dishwasher--completely tempting for anyone who wants to cook. And I was impressed by the owner's attention to detail, from cabinets that light up, to the soothing, Zen-like stone bathroom with heated floors, and the pretty tiling in the powder room.

Prague is a fairy-tale charming city, and it's hard not to fall a little bit in love with it. Whenever I walked around town and saw all the pretty buildings or stumbled down a particularly pretty side street, I felt a little giddy like I wanted to pinch myself. I couldn't believe I got to live there for a few months. I'm still marvelling that I got to live there for an extended period of time. It's definitely a beautiful city with a distinctly romantic and historical feel to it.

best regards,

Nancy

Apartment Kampa clean and comfy

Four of us stayed in Kampa apartment at the end of October. The accommodation was super. The apartment was situated in an ideal spot just off Charles Bridge, so it was close to all the tourist attractions, concert venues, shops and restaurants. The apartment was warm and had all that was needed in amenities, toaster, fridge microwave etc. Furnishings were typically olde worlde but with character. The accommodation offered a double bed and 2 single beds with a kitchen area, shower room and a lounge. Linen and bedding were very clean with comfy duvets. We booked our taxi with the apartment owners. We were picked up at the airport and booked our return to the airport as we were so delighted with the prompt, friendly service and the price charged. We would recommend this apartment for a break in Prague. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment at Obecini Dvur was perfect for our four day stay in Prague (Oct. 17-20, 2007). Everything from the reservation process, to airport pickup,to continued correspondence was very smooth. The staff are unbelievably attentive, and will respond to your problems/concerns immediately! The apartment itself is in the best part of town, about 5m from Old Town Square, surrounded by great shops, restaurants and bars, train station nearby. Very safe neighborhood. apartment is fantastically appointed, looks like a 4-5 star hotel. Highly recommend it, and will stay with you again.

Happy at Obecni Dvur apartment

I just wanted to let you know how very happy we were with our three days at Obeecni Dvur. It is beautifully furnished, with all the comforts needed to make for a very comfortable stay, whether for several nights or several weeks. the flat was very modern and complete with wonderful views from the windows, and very quiet at night.

The person who took care of us was a great help in meeting us and getting us settled in, and in showing us the shopping and parking accomodations in the area. She is a lovely young lady who helped make our visit a complete success. Her ability to speak English was a real plus for us.

The location of the flat is ideal in the heart of Stare Mesto, a comfortable walking distance to the Charles Bridge, and the many other historic attractions in the area. The many good restaurants nearby were a great convenience, and we never felt uncomfortable walking the streets at any time of day or night.

We will certainly recommend your flat to any of our friends going to Prague.

Most sincerely,

Description Kampa

So happy with Kampa Apartment

Sometimes it can be difficult to have roots in two countries. Mine are in Iceland and the Czech Republic. From the moment I first came to Prague I have loved the city. So full of culture, history and every day heroes. My family owned an apartment where I and my family stayed whenever we were in Prague. In 1995 I took my first group of Icelanders to show them Má Vlast – my father´s country. I was the tour leader, but most of what I knew was melted into my soul and blood. Stories that my father had told me and later other parts of my Czech family. When I was with groups we stayed in different hotels, many of the quiet and nice. When I and my friend decided this year to go to Prague in October, I wanted to rent an apartment on Karoliny Svetle. My friend wanted to stay in an old hotel with history. As this was his first trip to Prague I decided to let him choose. We checked into Hotel Evropa.

The glamour restaurant Titanic! Vaclávské Námestí! The room... Hm hm. Not quite the room they had sent me a photo of. Smaller and shabby. I asked for extra pillow and more hangers. “Tomorrow” was the answer. The first evening we wanted to buy Coca Cola in the lobby of the hotel. Sorry but the one with the key would not come until tomorrow.

On our second night I told a dear Czech friend that I wished we had rather rented an apartment. Pavel my friend does not spend too much time in discussing things, he is action man. He made one phone call and the next morning we checked out of Hotel Evropa to an apartment on Na Kampé 11. We felt immediately at home away from home. Everything was so clean and there was everything we needed – though I would never deny that I would have liked to have a small washing machine and dryer there! But to find an iron and ironing board for someone who loves to iron was perfect!

To wake up in the mornings and see Prague Castle and the happiness in the faces of people strolling on Charles Bridge. To sit by candlelight by the windows late at night and look at those beautiful buildings all around. To be able to have open windows in this area and listen to silence was something I would have thought impossible. Until Na Kampé week. To be able to walk to the Bio-Market to buy whatever was needed. To only have to walk few steps to all those great, Czech personal restaurants and cafés. And to be living few steps from Charles Bridge and never be annoyed by loud was something I didn´t think would be possible. Until I moved into Na Kampé 11. How can any vacation be better than this? It can’t.

Our meeter-greeter was Ota, a charming, smiling young man, ready to be of assistance if we needed. Johanna called and asked the same: Was everything OK? Yes it was. Maybe more towels? They were waiting for us a little later.

We were a little sad when the time came to say goodbye to Prague and this great apartment. But when we plan our next stay in Prague - and believe me, there will be a next stay our first choice will be to contact Apartments in Prague – Prague Accomodations sro. Thank you Johanna, Ota and Ivo. It was an added delight to this trip to have been so lucky to find you and this adorable apartment in classic Kampa.

Janska 9 apartment, comfortable and airy

We found the apartment comfortable and airy. It provided everything we needed for a short stay in stylish surroundings. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and the views from our gable window. The lift was appreciated at the end of days sight seeing.

Two minor criticisms: being under the eaves created some unusual shapes and occasional risk of bumped heads - we thought that the layout of furniture could possibly be improved to allow for that; the bathroom would benefit from an air extractor. *Note from Apartments in Prague - it's an attic apartment, the unusual shape of the apartment is part of its charm*

Generally a very positive review.

Best wishes

We Loved Vlasska 1

We really enjoyed our stay in the Vlasska 1 apartment. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the Mala Strana sights and easy access to the tram and metro. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortably fit 4 adults. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen supplied everything we needed, and we appreciated the WC being separate from the shower!

We arranged pick up at the train station, and I'm very glad we did. The staff that picked us up were very friendly and knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. If you decide to arrange pickup at the train or airport, be sure to ask the staff lots of questions as they are probably the friendliest and most helpful locals you will meet during your stay in Prague.

Don't miss St. Nicholas cathedral (go early in the morning before it gets too crowded) and Prague castle. Be sure to check out the shops for suviners on the way to or from the castle. The Jewish Ghetto is verythought provoking and well worth the visit. We ate at many fine restaurants, one in particular was the Needle House.

There were only a few drawbacks of the Vlasska apartment (and they areminor issues!):

- Instructions for operating the washing machine would be helpful. We did 2 loads before realizing the soap was in the wrong dispenser and our clothes weren't being cleaned.

- The garbage bins in the apartment building entryway were pretty smelly for several days, maybe they can be stored soemwhere else?

- As in most cities, there is a little early morning/late evening street noise when the windows are open. Our friends in Vlasska 2 (ground floor) noticed this in particular, and had to keep their windows closed, so the

apartment got quite stuffy.

- The water heater is quite small, so if more than 2 people are in the apartment make sure you are one of the first 2 to shower in the morning, otherwise you will have cold water!

All in all, a great stay and very friendly staff. I would would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to visit Prague and stay in a beautiful, clean and safe area of the city.

Apartment Karoliny Svetle, perfect location

We were the first guests to stay in this newly renovated and furnished apartment, and we very much enjoyed our stay. There is a spacious living room with a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a large bath tub, a separate toilet, and even a washing machine. The two bedrooms with double beds are comfortable and quiet enough to get some good sleep.

The location is also perfect, only a three minute walk from Charles Bridge and therefore close to the Old Town as well as the New Town, an abundance of shops and restaurants, and public transport.

We can warmly recommend this place--everything you might want for an enjoyable stay in Prague is there, including a WLAN internet connection and friendly service.

Delighted with Apartment Karoliny Svetle

We were delighted with this apartment and had a great three days staying here. This is a modern apartment with very new fixtures and fittings. It is nicely spacious and there is a bathroom with separate toilet, which is

handy. The bedrooms are very quiet thanks to a double window system, which keeps the noise out. An abundance of restaurants surround the apartment, including a reasonable one directly below. But the best thing about the

apartment is the location. Karoliny Svetle is quite possibly the most ideal location in Prague. You are right there in the Old Town, but also incredibly close to the sights in Mala Strana and the shops in the Nove Mesto.

I hope this is helpful and look forward to using your services again at some point....

Janska 9 Apartment Accommodation in Prague is Incredible!

31. 8. 2007 - Guys, Janska 9 is incredible! I’ve been here for three nights on June 2007, I came in Prague to attend a conference and it was my second visit to Prague in less that two months. Located in the quiet quarter of Mala Strana, this apartment is probably the nicest I have ever stayed in! The terrace offers a view on the roof of Prague that makes this place magic and enchanted with an unbelievable romantic atmosphere. The facilities were superb and the whole apartment is smartly furnished with style and the temptation to move in permanently is high! Staying in Janska 9 will transform your holiday in Prague in a very special and unforgottable one!

Aug. 1, 2007 - My family and I were so very pleased with our stay in Janska 4 (July 9-12). As only the second renters of this newly renovated apartment in a historical building, we felt very special. The apartment is in an ideal location within walking distance to all major sights yet also very quiet because it is situated on the end of a small dead-end street. Description Prokopská

Dear Apartments in Prague,

July 20, 2007 - Here are some thoughts about Prokopska:

I would definitely recommend Prokopska for the price and location. This place is ideal for two adults escaping on a honeymoon or short vacation, or for a business trip.

The apartment located in the Lesser Quarter of Prague within walking distance to Charles Bridge (five minutes), The Castle, Strahov Monastery. Many restaurants are in this area, which is not overcrowded by tourists. We found it very delightful after crossing the mobbed Charles bridge and walking through the thick crowds of Old Town to escape into your own, quite tranquil corner of Prague where the Prokopska apartment is. Nearby Amenities. A grocery store is less then 10 minutes away, close to the Charles Bridge and open late.

The apartment is small, cozy, good for one or two adults, more people will probably make you feel a little claustrophobic. Our neighbors were local people, very polite, respectful. Building is kept nice and clean and the apartment is cleaned once a week while you stay there. The building has a nice courtyard. The Apartment is on the third floor tucked in the corner with windows opening onto the courtyard, providing lots of privacy.

There is no laundry machine but Lenka or David will find you a service to pick up your laundry. There is Laundry place - Laundry Kings on Hradcanska metro station, same side of town with Skype access and few restaurants to spend your time while doing laundry.

I booked with this agency for a second year in a row and received 10% discount plus an extra discount for staying for two weeks, after a very short negotiation.

They will pick you up and drop you off in the airport. Please remember in Prague, if you catch a taxi on the street instead of calling on the phone, your price doubles for the same distance - so I suggest using this agency to pick you up, cost €30. Johanna was staying there waiting for us in the airport. What a relief to know they are there to welcome you and they will bring you to your vacation home right away. NO hassle.

Lenka, Jana, David and Johanna are all very delightful people to work with.

Best regards,

Nat

Dear Apartments in Prague

May 21, 2007 - We had an excellent stay in Prague.

The apartment was beautiful. It was ideal size for my wife, 4 year daughter and my 5 month baby girl. I stayed in the guest room which is ideal for 1 person and very comfortable.

We were provided an excellent crib for our daughter which i was happy with. The apartment is well maintained by the company and the heating works well. The kitchen had the right equipment and everything worked well.

I was impressed with the service as any problems we faced were promptly dealt with Apartments in Prague and customer service from Jana was excellent.

The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the Old town square which was great as we spent most of our time there. There are grocery stores round the corner and i recommend all to shop at Alberts which is a 3 minutes walk. It is like a Krogers in the US and you get everything.

Storage place at the apartment is not much and they provided us with only 2 hangers for our pants?? They need to fix that. (yup, we got the hint!)

Wi fi works and its fast. My Mac was flying.

The building of the Apartment of Bendeksta 2 is not great but is compensated by the nice apartment.

I've been all over the world and am from India and would recommend the place as its great value for money. Good for a family like my size.

David, We're back in the US now and I just wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in Prague and in the apartment. It’s pretty amazing to realize that the apartment building is older than the US. Yet it was clean, up-to-date and very comfortable. But most important, it was in a fantastic location. Once we got our car tucked away in the hotel garage, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Finally, thanks again for the great driving directions to the apartment. I was able to navigate to the door with no problems. Your personal interest in making sure that all went well was very much appreciated. I will recommend you to a number of people who I know plan trips to Prague soon.

Dear Lenka,

April 23, 2007 - The accommodation is spotlessly clean, very secure, reasonably quiet and in a good central location, close to a supermarket. There is direct access to the bathroom from the hallway (unlike many apartments, where the bathroom is reached via another bedroom). There was no noise from the adjacent restaurant, which serves very good Czech food at good prices. The agents and staff speak English fluently and are very efficient and extremely helpful, for which we are very grateful. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful city.

If only I could! Everything is provided, from toaster to washing machine & dryer and dishwasher a real treat. The fully equipped cooking facilities are also greatly appreciated.

Dear Prague Accommodations,

Aug. 7, 2006 - Thanks for letting us rent the apartment on Olivova. We loved the beautiful space, it's central location, and having a kitchen & washing machine/dryer. I would love to stay there again if we return to Prague. Thanks to Lawrence for arranging for a driver to meet us earlier than the planned time.

We had a hard time finding the Smetna Theater Parking; it seems that it is on Wilsonova, rather than on the street (Washingtonova) you told us it was on. We did find it though, so that was not a problem. The rate did come out much higher than expected - it was 3,350 CZK for 3 days, much more than the 30 CZK/hour you mentioned to us. (Note from Prague Accommodations: the rate is actually 46 CZK/hour)

The "Internet Games" internet cafe on Politickych (around the corner from the apartment) is an excellent resource you might put on the very useful laminated information sheet you left for us. We could plug our laptop directly into their highspeed line, and the rates were inexpensive. (We were unable to gain access to the account you set up - I don't know why!)

Again, thanks.

To David and all whom I met related to the Vlasska VI apartment in Prague,

Aug. 2, 2007 - I want to state my thanks for your helpfulness and care (and especially the effort you put forth to get me "up and running" on the Internet). The apartment was everything we hoped for. "We" is me (74 yo), a daughter (you don't need to know her age :)), and her two daughters (young teenagers).

The apartment itself met all our needs, and though it was on the third floor (I know, I know it's a 2nd floor apartment, but in the USA that is the third floor) the stairs were easy to climb, well lit, and gave me a good work out.

Also, the apartment location was terrific! It felt quite safe as it was so near the American and the German embassies and a police station. I felt comfortable with the granddaughters walking to the produce market or to get ice cream by themselves. We also were near the castle (though it is an uphill walk, it was not bad--and most of the other area around where we were did not require climbing hills), the famous Charles Bridge, and not far from the tram to go over to Old Town and the other tourist attractions on the other side of the river.

There were also lots of eating places within easy walk of Vlasska. We discovered a grocery store (no produce, actual dry goods) and, of course, a "bankomat" (ATM) within a couple of blocks.

I very much hope to return to Prague and bring my husband next time. He and I always prefer an apartment to a hotel room. Yours was a good experience for us, and if I get to return, you will be the first folks I contact.

Thanks for everything. We had a lovely experience in Prague (even though the July heat wave nearly did me in--and you loved it!). Betty

Dear Apartments in Prague,

Aug. 1, 2007 - Obecni Dvur is ideal for visiting Prague as the apartment is located in the city center, just behind Saint Agnes convent and five minutes from the Old Town Square (Staromestske namesti) and its beautiful clock, Parizska Avenue with its elegant boutiques, friendly cafes and restaurants, and the concert halls and theaters. In a nutshell, this charming apartment is in the heart of the city. From the windows there is a magnificent view of the Prague's red-tiled roofs and Letna Park in the background.

Thanks to this very comfortable and well situated pied-a-terre and a quiet atmosphere, we were able to appreciate the magic of the city even more, already charmed by the view offered from the windows. It was a perfect visit.

Dear Apartments in Prague,

From Jo Ann, Mar. 26, 2007 - My family and I would like to thank Apartments in Prague for a wonderful stay. We rented Benediksta 2, which offered two bedrooms (one big bedroom whicheasily accommodated my husband & I and our toddler son, and a smaller room for my brother-in-law). The apartment was cozy, yet very comfortable, and pleasantly quiet.

We could not have imagined a more convenient location in Stare Mesto. Within the immediate area, we had access to all of our daily necessities (coffee shop, bakery, market, drug store, restaurants) and within walking distance, we had access to all the tourist sites and transportation. As for my single brother-in-law, the apartment was in close proximity to various bars and clubs which he frequented nightly during our stay.

We would especially like to thank Jana Donovan for her assistance in making our reservation but also for her wealth of information on parks in the area where we could take our son to play. Unfortunately, our son became ill during the first half of our stay and so we were unable to visit many of the places Jana recommended. However, we are keeping the list for the next visit. Jana's concern for our son's illness was also much appreciated as were the quick response to a cleaning request and the loan of a playpen.

Kindest regards,

Lorenzo, Jo Ann and Luca

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prague (Feb. 12-22, 2007). The Kampa apartment was a special treat. It was well furnished and very comfortable. It is located in one of the most picturesque parts of town, being very handy for walking or public transportation. There are many good restaurants in the Kampa Park area. Dear Apartments in Prague,

Prokopska is a really delightful and tranquil place to either vacation or to stay whilst on business in Prague. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you will need either as simply a place to sleep and relax or to cater for yourself. More than sufficient space and located in probably the best part of Prague, the Lesser Quarter, not so overcrowded with tourists, but at the same time in comfortable walking distance of the Castle, the Strahov Monastery, Waldstien Palace and gardens and of course the Charles Bridge giving immediate accesses to al the historic and interesting places of Prague.

Staying at Prokopska you are totally spoilt with an almost unlimited selection of cafes and restaurants, from the finest to be found anywhere, to more modest but extremely affordable and most within a few minutes walk. And if you tire of eating out then everything is provided to stay in and enjoy eating in.

If you are here on business, then the phone provided gives free local dial up access to the internet if you have access to a local connection point, if not then there is even a dial up account available, but no WiFi cant expect everything!

Take the taxi service offered by Prague Apartments takes you right to the apartment and complete "check in" formalities there, very friendly and efficient.

Overall wonderful and I will return.

Thanks, Martin Salter

I spent a very pleasant few days in apartment 6, Vlasska 8, in January '07. The location was exactly what I wanted - less than a 10 minute walk, over Charles Bridge, to the main action (Old Town Square) yet away from the late night drunks. Tram 22 had you anywhere in no time at all, and we enjoyed several excellent meals in local restaurants - all within 300m of our apartment. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well serviced. All in all, strongly recommended.

From Laurie Kauffman

Jan. 1, 2007 - Beneditska 1 (April 2005) offers another great location, although it is not as intuitively easy to find as is Kampa. Once you learn the shortcut (turn right out the front door and keep going straight thru the little mall, instead of following the street when it turns to the right) to the Municipal House and the large grocery on the way there, you begin to feel like Prague has let you in on one of its many secrets. We appreciated having laundry facilities in the apt, though it took us Yanks a while to figure out how to use them. Beneditska 2 looks even better, and we may have to book our fourth stay with you there, though we suspect the little courtyard will be a summer only attraction, as it did not look too appealing two Aprils ago.

One note on the four of your apartments that we've rented: David's photo galleries do a fantastic job of showing exactly what each unit has to offer. We've never been surprised at what we found, as David carefully took the time to show everything, good and bad, about every place. We can tell which apartments are not to our style, and we can be sure that if we like the pictures, we will like the real thing as well. The only thing some people need to be careful of at some locations is the number of stairs. Otherwise, all should be able to tell in advance from the photos if an apartment will suit their needs. All will be clean and at least adequately equipped, while some are clearly very well furnished.

We are still trying to figure out when we will make our next visit to Prague, but when we do, we will be sure to stay with you again. As another of your guests wrote, you truly are one of the best finds on the internet.

Dear Apartments in Prague,

We were quite satisfied with the apartment we rented. Its location, in a quiet part of Prague, bordering the American Embassy and a police station, offered reassurance that we were safe and in a desirable area. Convenience was a big factor, since we could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. The recommendations for restaurants and advice about tourism were also helpful. The apartment itself was spacious, although the furnishings were basic and fairly Spartan. The young woman who met us and transported us to and from the airport, Johanna, was a delightful and helpful person, and whenever we had a reason to call the rental office, they were very helpful and accommodating. The apartment and surrounding area was quiet, so sleep was not disturbed by traffic noises. The cost of the apartment, in terms of what we got (two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, but only one toilet, and abundant space), seemed very reasonable as compared to the expense of a hotel with comparable facilities.

Good luck with your venture.

From Phil Anderson

Our last stay was at Kampa (April 2006), which we shared with our 16 year old son. It is hard to imagine a more perfect location in Prague. We were initially concerned that the location might be too perfect; that getting to sleep at the foot of the Charles Bridge would be a challenge. On the contrary, even though we were there for a busy Easter week, keeping the double windows closed completely excluded the sounds of the outside world. Even with the windows open, the outside noise was not bad at all.

Kampa was so easy to find that we could turn our son loose on his first visit to Prague without doubting that he could easily find his way back. Prague is a wonderful city in which to get lost, but you can always find your way to the Bridge. Just remember Karlovy Most (Charles Bridge), and anyone can give you directions from anywhere.

Kitchen and bath are both a little basic, but were adequate to our needs. Had we planned to do more cooking in, we could have chosen one of your units with more complete kitchen facilities. For breakfast and snacks out, a little cafe nearby called Cukr Kava Limonada should be added to your restaurant list. Finally, though there was only one bedroom, the living room sofa folded out and that room was big enough for everyone to have privacy.

my family and I enjoyed our apartment on the Na Kampa Square very much. The location was perfect and we loved the pubs and restaurants close by. It was an all around good choice for us with just one reservation. I did not know that the apartment was up three flights of stairs. The climb was difficult because I am an asthmatic.

Other than that, the apartment was clean, light and airy. The bathroom tiles need to be fixed so water from the shower doesn't flow out into the kitchen, but I am sure you have addressed that problem.

The telephone was in a very inconvenient place ... but I was very happy we had the telephone.

How fortunate we were to come upon Vlasska 8, Apt. V on the Internet. We made it our home away from home in Prague. It is a delightful blend of old and new, with charming painted ceilings, antique furnishings (all very comfortable!), and modern fixtures that worked flawlessly. The decorator knew what he was doing and chose each item carefully, whether it was the pots and pans or the welcome comforters on the beds. We added our own touches like a bouquet of flowers from a nearby stand with an irresistible display of colorful blooms. Vlasska 8 is in an ideal location. We couldn't believe how close we were to the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, St. Nicholas Church, Petrin Park, Old Town and Wenceslas Square. Anyone wanting to rest their feet can easily jump on a tram or the Metro. Trust me, this is a find. Vlasska 8 and Prague Accommodations lived up to rentals we've enjoyed through a similar service that specializes in French getaways. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, and the apartment is delightful. May all of you enjoy your visit to beautiful Prague as much as we did.

Hi, my 3 friends and I returned from Prague yesterday (11 Oct. '03) where we stayed in Apt.5 in Vlasska 8. The apartment was fantastic, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well furnished and decorated, but best of all it was in a great location. From the bedroom, which is large with plenty of storage, there is a good sized bathroom with bath, shower, sink and storage, but the toilet and a small hand basin are separate and reached through the lounge. The sofa bed is large and very comfortable. There is a fridge, cooker, microwave oven, toaster, washing machine and also a small stereo so you can play CDs. For 2 people the apartment is ideal, for 4 it was more than adequate. It's some of the best accommodation we've ever stayed in anywhere and my friends and I will certainly be back here soon. The Bakeshop close to Charles Bridge does lovely food and cakes from 7am - 10pm, their crispy bacon is the best! The little bar on the corner just up from the apartments is a cozy place for a beer or a cocktail. But wherever you stay in Prague you'll be sure to eat and drink well as there are good bars, cafes and restaurants everywhere. I'll be back in December - I can't wait! Many thanks to everyone involved.

Having read the excellent feedback on the other apartments in this block my expectations were high, and I wasn't disappointed. When the high standard of furnishing and cleanliness is combined with the fact that there is a perfectly adequate shop next door and numerous superb restaurants within easy walking distance one could easily forget to mention that it is located in probably the best area in Prague. I will surely return to Prague and, when I do, I would be more than happy to stay in Vlasska 8.

Hi David, Just to drop you a line to say how we loved our recent stay at Vlasska 8 V. The accommodation was lovely, the area of Mala Strana was so beautiful and we found the local people very friendly. We took your advise & walked to different areas rather than take the trams, as everywhere was a easy walking distance. On a visit to the castle we spotted a bar/restaurant called "Bazaar?, please tell all you future tourists to take a visit, the food was fantastic & the surroundings/decor within the building are truly Bizaar!!!! On the whole Prague is a beautiful city & staying in a traditional building in a apartment was a wonderful option! So future visitor's to Prague, whether you are single a couple or a group of friends/family, trust our judgment and enjoy yourselves as much as we did! Thanks again David! Kind Regards,

- Sue & Phil, Leicestershire. England.

20. 6. 2003 - Great location - only 2 blocks from Charles Bridge in a quiet street and just down the hill from the Castle Area.. plenty of restaurants and sights around. The apt. was spacious, clean. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Telephone and stereo provided... no TV. The owner - Dave - was also very helpful in setting us with transportation from/to the train station and providing recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Highly recommend this place!

This apartment was just what we were looking for for our ten days in Prague; Cozy, sunlit rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, nice quiet residential neighborhood, not too far from the Charles Bridge (a bit of a distance but walk able). The apartment is on the 2nd floor; Meaning you will actually climb four flights of stairs to reach the 2nd floor! (We wrongly assumed 2nd floor meant going up one flight of stairs to reach 2nd floor). We're never too old to learn. We are ages 70 & 63!

Hi Lenka, thank you so much for the lovely apartment in Luzicka. I think our stay in Prague was enhanced because we had a nice temporary home to go back to at the end of each day. We had everything we needed and we also appreciated your quick response to all our queries. We didn't mind being a little off the tourist track and even though we never did located the Atelier Café at the end, we got to visit Universal Café and the lovely Palffy Palac. We loved the bistro atmosphere and the honest flavor at Universal and Palffy Palac was truly a romantic spot with food that really held its own anywhere in the world. Thanks for the recommendations. Once again, thank you for providing such a professional service. We'd definitely recommended you to any friends who might be traveling to Prague in the future.

- Best regards Vivian Wong

The apartment has a comfortable bedroom with lovely painted ceiling, large bathroom and sink and a separate toilet/sink in another room. A comfortable seating area with sofa and a well equipped kitchen completes this nice apartment.

19. 6. 2002 - A lovely apartment, with clean, excellent facilities that is reasonably priced. The location is perfect, just five minute walk from Charles Bridge yet still allows the chance to get away from the crowds. Definitely check out J J Murphys Irish bar on the corner, especially for the Budvar.

This apartment is in an excellent location in Prague and is within easy walking distance of the Castle, Charles Bridge and the Old Town. The cobblestone street is charming. The building and apartment are well secured. While more basic than the other Vlasska apartments of Prague Accommodations, it is more than adequate for your stay in Prague. I can recommend this apartment to you and I highly recommend the services of Prague Accommodations.

My mom, sister and I shared the Olivova 5 apartment and we just loved it! We had enough space so my mom could snore to her heart's content. I would really recommend this apartment to parties of 3-5 because it is much more spacious and cost-effective than a hotel, and you get the comforts of home as well as the convenience of its location. I was a bit nervous to book an unseen apartment on-line, but the pictures on the website match the apartment exactly. No complaints here!

With 3 friends I stayed in this apartment for 5 days in May of this year (2002). The apartment is modern; very well equipped particularly the kitchen appliances/utensils; spotless; quiet at night; and provides a surplus of extra towels, sheets etc. It is 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, Wenceslas square, supermarket and tourist office. A very useful guide to restaurants etc is left in the apartment for reference. I would highly recommend this apartment and I am sure the other properties on the list are of the same standard.

We stayed for nine lovely days in September. It was within walking distance of everything, and was a warm and inviting place to stay. The kitchen (with an oven) was very comfortable and afforded a table for us to share wine and local food late into the night. We definitely plan to return!
